IP Banned? Static & Dynamic IP Fix. SOLVE IT HERE. WORKS!

There are a few things I want to say first:

This is an advanced tutorial, if you dont have an average computer knowledge, I suggest you to ask for help to a person who can do it.

This tutorial has been tested by me and by one of my friend on Dynamic and Static IP's with succeed in order to play again Combat Arms on IP Banned locations.

Keep in mind that Dynamic IP's will be more easier to solve than Static IP's. The success of changing your IP is totally dependent on your ISP.

Let's change our IP, there are a few ways to do it, this one (if works for you) will get a new IP from your ISP.

Lets start off with what a MAC address is. A Media Access Control (MAC) Address is the unique identification for your network adapter. This MAC address is used to assign IP addresses. Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) only allow one IP for each subscription. This means that if you try to connect another computer with a different network card to your modem, you won't be able to connect to the internet.

One way to get around this is to change the MAC address of the new network card to that of the old network card. The other, and most common workaround, is to unplug the modem for 5-10 minutes. When you do this, the modem will reset the registered MAC address and allow a new computer to access the internet, and your ISP will give that new computer a new IP.

Changing your MAC address and unplugging your modem will give you a new IP address.
*Note* This might not work with all modems. I would recommend that you check to see if unplugging the modem will allow another (different MAC address) computer to connect after the modem is unplugged.


So in order to get a new IP from your ISP, you need to:

1) Change your MAC address (so the ISP thinks you have a new computer)

2) Unplug the modem (to reset the registered MAC address)

The first thing to do is to change the MAC address of the device that is connected to your modem. If you have a router, you will need to change the MAC of the router, otherwise you just have to change the MAC of your computer.

Routers:
Most routers available today and most older ones allow you to change the MAC address from the configuration. To find the address of your router, go to the command prompt (Start > Type "cmd" no quotes and hit enter) When the Command Prompt window shows, type "ipconfig".

Look for the adapter that is connected to the router and make note of the Defauly Gateway.



This is the address of your router. Type it into the address bar of your favorite internet browser and it may ask for your password. If you don't remember setting one up, it is probably the default one, so look it up on the manufacturer's site. The setting that you want to change is the Router's MAC Address.



You may have noticed that the router allows you to use the MAC Address of the connected computer. Selecting this option might be easier for the future because you would only have to change your computer's MAC Address, but since I don't know if all routers have this option, I set one manually.

Make it anything you want. The author of this TuT find it easiest to just increment one of the numbers.

*Note* Apple routers (Airport Extreme and Airport Express) do NOT allow for changing the MAC address. 

You can change your MAC on your computer either by using a spoofing program: Technitium MAC Address Changer v5 Release 3 (FREEWARE)

After you have a new MAC address, you will need to unplug the modem from its power source. The time it needs to stay unplugged varies, so your best bet is to unplug it overnight, while you are asleep. When you plug it back in, your computer should have a new IP address which means that your IP ban will not affect you anymore.

If unplugging the modem overnight did not work, you will probably have to call your ISP and request a new IP address. They might change it for you or they might not. The success of this last ditch attempt will vary from ISP to ISP.
